What is BSF, how to get involved?


Border Security Force is deployed on the international borders to protect their country. BSF jawans guard the border 24 hours a day. Anti-social elements happening around the border, keeping low-risk places under their control, preventing infiltrators entering the country from the border, saving the lives of the people of villages and towns around the border. The soldiers posted on the border of the country do not allow any lapse in border security. The soldiers posted on the international border of the country also prevent the people going to the border from dying. BSF Recruitment Process – There are different posts in BSF. Such as Constable, Sub Inspector, General Duty Cadre, Assistant Commandant, Assistant Sub Inspector, Communication Setup, Head Constable, Radio Operator.

Educational Qualification for BSF – Passed 10th or 12th or passed Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Age Limit for BSF Recruitment:- Minimum age is 18 years and maximum is 18 years. However, reserved category candidates are given relaxation as per rules. s. C and ST There is a provision of relaxation in age for 3 years.
There is a provision of age relaxation of 5 years for OBC.
Height should be 170 cms and chest should be 80 to 85 cms.

The BSF recruitment process takes place in four stages.

– written record
– physical test
– medical examination
– Interview

BSF Salary – Initially the salary ranges from Rs 25,000 to 30,000 per month. After that the qualifying salary increases. Which varies from Rs 1 lakh per month to Rs 2 lakh per month.
