Virat Kohli says loyalty matters more he would be in the RCB till the last day play in the IPL

Virat Kohli’s dream of getting this team the IPL title as captain may have been shattered but he says that as long as he plays in this tournament, he will be associated with this team. Virat had already announced that he would step down from the captaincy of RCB after this season.

Virat Kohli said after the match, ‘Now is the time to make a new team for the next 3 years. I will play for RCB only. Loyalty means a lot to me and my association with this team will last till my last day in IPL. Under Virat’s captaincy, RCB played 140 matches in the IPL and won 66 while losing 70. The team also reached the final once in 2016 but could not register the title win.

He further said, ‘I have tried to create such a culture in the team in which youth can come and show aggressive games. I have tried to do the same for the Indian team. I will only say that I gave my 120 percent to the team and will continue to give it as a player even after this.
