UPSC’s main timetable released, exam will be conducted from January 7


Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the exam time table for the Civil Services Main Exam 2021. UPSC has issued a latest update in this regard on its official website. All the candidates who have applied for this exam can check the exam schedule on the official website of the commission, upsc.gov.in.

According to the latest update of the Union Public Service Commission, the Civil Services Main Examination is being conducted from January 7, 2022 and will end on January 15, 2022. There will be 9 papers in 2 shifts. The first shift will start at 9 am and end at 12 noon while the second shift will run from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The commission has also released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) I for Civil Services Main Examination 2021. The provision to change the exam centers is also provided to the candidates. If a candidate wants to change the main exam center then they can do so while filling the DAF I. The last date for filling DAF I has been extended up to December 1, 2021.

Candidates must note that the selection in Civil Services is done in 3 stages- 1 Preliminary Exam, 2 Main Exam and 3 Personal Interview. The candidates who have cleared the preliminary examination held in October are eligible for the main examination. Candidates who will qualify the main examination will be called for interview.
