T20 World Cup: I Actually Think People Talking About my Form is Quite Funny, Says David Warner

Australian star opener David Warner has said that he finds it funny that people talk about his form. He has said that he is in a good space and is hitting the ball well in the net. Let us tell you that in the second phase of IPL 2021, Warner was out of the playing 11. Sunrisers Hyderabad included him in the UAE leg in two matches in which he scored 0 and 2.

Warner told Cricket Australia’s website, “From my perspective, I really think that people are talking about my form which is very funny. I laugh thinking about it because I played very little cricket and In IPL also I had two games and then they basically wanted to give a chance to all the other youngsters.”

Warner added, “I think it’s okay. And warm-up matches happen for some reason. My benchmark came back against South Africa. I think I’m in good space and I can hit the ball in the nets as well. Hitting well, I am very prepared. Against South Africa I felt I was a four away from a good innings.”
