T20 World Cup: Afghanistan’s explosive batting, target of 161 runs for Namibia


Abu Dhabi. Afghanistan posted a good score of 160 for five against Namibia in a Group II match of the Super 12 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup here on Sunday.

For Afghanistan, Mohammad Shahzad contributed 45, Hazratullah Zazai 33, captain Mohammad Nabi 32 not out and Asghar Afghan contributed 31 runs.

John Nicole Lofti Eaton of Namibia took two wickets for 21 runs and Ruben Trumpelman took two wickets for 34 runs. JJ Smit gets a wicket.
