Digital Desk, Kabul. The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced a 15-man final squad for the T20 World Cup. Afghanistan team will be led by captain Mohammad Nabi. Afghanistan will start their campaign on October 25 with the winners of Group B of the first round.

Afghanistan are in Group 2 along with New Zealand, India and Pakistan and two teams from the qualifying pool. The ACB said that the team includes Rashid Khan who will be in charge of the spin department. Apart from them there is also Nabi, Mujeeb ur Rehman.

Afghanistan’s team is as follows:
Mohammad Nabi (Captain), Rehmanullah Gurbaz, Hazratullah Zazai, Usman Ghani, Mohammad Shahzad, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Asghar Afghan, Gulbadin Naib, Najibullah Zadran, Karim Janat, Rashid Khan, Mujeeb ur Rehman, Hamid Hasan, Farid Ahmed Malik and Naveen Ul Haq .

Reserves: Sharafuddin Ashraf, Samiullah Shinwari, Daawat Zadran and Fazal Haque Farooqui.
