Actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal announced their debut production Girls Will Be Girls, and said that they intend to bring global and disorganized stories.
Talking about her project, being an insider-outsider, Richa said that authentic, original and honest stories go a long way, and it is our endeavor to make films that show nothing less. We aim to bring stories that are universal and unique. Through our projects, we aim to discover unheard voices and offer clutter-breaking content.
Ali further added that as actors, we not only want to work in interesting projects, but also create cinema that is phenomenal and thought-provoking. We want to bring to the audience the stories that matter to us.
Ali is known for working in several international projects, including the British-American films Victoria & Abdul and Furious 7.
Richa, on the other hand, has traveled to Cannes Film Festival, Venice International Film Festival, London Indian Film Festival with films like Masaan, Love Sonia and the web series Inside Edge for Amazon Prime Video.
It is a truth that is universally acknowledged that the Indian film industry is one of the largest cinema centers in the world and there is no dearth of possibilities and opportunities within this fraternity.
It was this thought that inspired Richa and Ali to create their first project Girls Will Be Girls, directed by Shuchi Talati and produced through their banners Pushing Button Studio, Crawling Angel Films and Dolce Vita Films France.
