The Supreme Court has constituted a three-member committee to investigate the Pegasus espionage case. The committee consists of former Supreme Court judges RV Ravindran, Alok Joshi and Sanjeep Oberoi. The committee will be headed by Justice Ravindran. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has lashed out at the central government regarding this matter. Rahul Gandhi calls Pegasus spying case an attack on democracy. Attacking the central government in the press conference, he said that who brought Pegasus to India? Who bought Pegasus? No private person can buy Pegasus. He said that we had raised the issue of Pegasus in Parliament also. He further said that the formation of SIT is a good step. Pegasus software has been purchased by the central government. Rahul Gandhi said that the government is definitely hiding something on this matter. That’s why she is not giving any answer. He said that we respect this decision of the Supreme Court, we are waiting for the report to come.
