Digital Desk, New Delhi. Actor Vicky Kaushal has been a part of the acting business for nine years. Actors agree that questioning themselves is an integral part of an artiste and it helps them grow. Vicky is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Sardar Udham, which focuses on Sardar Udham Singh’s adamant mission to avenge the lives of his beloved brothers, who were brutally murdered in the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
Asked if he has ever questioned himself, Vicky told IANS, “I think questioning oneself is a very important part of an artiste. You are never too satisfied with your work, you are never too relaxed and that’s the beauty of it, because we always feel that we can do better. We can do better and we can state it better and that is important.
It is an integral part of our growth as an actor. Every day I come back home, I take a shower and sit and I think oh, I could have done this scene better. That self-doubt is always there, and it fuels the burning fire within me about my work. Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar and directed by Shoojit Sircar, the film also stars Sean Scott, Stephen Hogan, Banita Sandhu and Kirsty Everton in pivotal roles, and Amol Parashar in a special role. The film is all set to release on October 16 on Amazon Prime Video.
