Rohtak. Rohtak will have bullet proof jackets, bullet proof helicopters, armored and mine proof vehicles for the Indian Army and other armed forces. This will be the first plant in the country, where all types of protective cover will be made. The most secure Bhabha Kavach (Bullet Proof Jacket) will be made on the technology of Bhabha Atomic Research Center. This plant of Mishra Dhatu Nigam will be inaugurated by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in December as part of Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi. These things were told by the Chairman of the Corporation, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Jha on Tuesday.

Dr. Sanjay said that in 2017, Mishra Dhatu Nigam established this plant on 10 acres of land at IMT, of which more than 80 percent work has been done. So far, the security cover is based on foreign technology, but now the indigenous and safest armor will be made on the technology of Bhabha Atomic Research Center. The new technology’s protective cover is named Bhabha Kavach, which is 20 to 30 percent lighter. Apart from this, moving vehicles (armored vehicles) will be made in Rohtak.

Mine proof vehicles will also be made in Rohtak to protect against explosions by laying landmines in Naxal affected areas. Bullet proof helicopters will also be made. The plant will be inaugurated by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in December. During this, apart from Chief Minister Manohar Lal, officers of military and paramilitary forces will also be present.

In a year so many security shields can be made
Dr. Sanjay said that at present, 15 thousand Bhabha jackets, 25 helicopters, 100 armored vehicles and thousands of vest police jackets, NSD jackets, BP helmets and patkas can be made in the plant within a year.

Rohtak was chosen because of the proximity of the border.
Dr. Sanjay told that not only the capital of the country is near from Rohtak, but the border of Pakistan is also not far away. Rohtak has been selected for setting up the plant so that the need can be supplied to the armed forces immediately.

Bhabha Kavach is made of special cloth and carbon nano tube
Dr. Sanjay told that Bhabha Kavach is completely safe, on which many attacks of AK-47 are also neutral. In this, special types of fabric (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene and carbon nano tubes etc. are used.

According to the rules, 75 percent of the workers will be from Haryana.
The chairman said that 70-75 percent of the workers in the plant would be from Haryana as per the rules of the Haryana State Government. Apart from this, other people will also get temporary employment. He said that those who will be selected, they will be given training by engineers.

Surveillance system and security guard will be strict
The chairman said that the plant will be protected from all aspects. Not only will its surveillance system work, but the security guard will also be tightened. Apart from this, watch towers will also be installed.
