No one died of Kovid since October 24 | No one died of Kovid in Puducherry since October 24

Digital Desk, Puducherry. The health department of Puducherry said in a statement that the Union Territory has not reported any COVID-19 related death since October 24. However, the UT reported 45 new cases at 10 am on Friday, while the number of cured people stood at 52. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) stood at 1.5 percent. The number of active cases of corona in the union territory is 446 and out of these 362 people are in home isolation. The Puducherry headquarters recorded the maximum number of 28 new cases. Nine cases were reported in Mahe region, 7 in Karaikal and one fresh case in Yanam in the last 24 hours. The headquarters have the highest number of active cases at 275, followed by Karaikal (93), Mahe (72) and Yanam (6). The Health Department said that 19.1 lakh swab samples have been tested so far and out of which 16.14 lakh have tested negative. The department said that 11.2 lakh Kovid-19 vaccines were administered, out of which one dose has been given to 7.25 lakh people while the other dose has been given to 3.98 lakh people.
