MP government alert about new variants of Corona, the era of restrictions starts again


Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government has become alert on the information of increasing number of corona patients and new variants of corona in foreign countries. The state government has decided that only 50 percent children will come to schools and people who have returned from abroad in the last one month will be investigated.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took a meeting with the officials on Sunday and said that new variants of Corona have been reported to spread in some countries. Its cases have not been found in India yet, but we have taken some decisions for vigilance in Madhya Pradesh. Along with the guidelines of the central government, some additional precautions will be taken.

Chouhan further said, we have decided that schools will open tomorrow from Monday but the attendance of children will be kept only 50 percent. That is, out of six days of the week, children will go to school only three days. 50% children will reach school in three days and another 50% children will reach school on three days. Schools will also have to continue online classes as an option.

The Chief Minister further said that if parents do not want to send their children to school, then they should have the option of online classes. Parental consent is required to send children to school. Only if he agrees, the children will go to school.

Regarding those returning from Vidisha, Chief Minister Chouhan said, those who have come to Madhya Pradesh from other countries on international flights in the last one month, their investigation will be done on the basis of the rules laid down by the Government of India. If they show any symptoms, they will be isolated. Instructions have also been given to increase the number of samples of genome sequencing.

Regarding making better arrangements in the hospitals, the Chief Minister said that I have given instructions that the availability of essential medicines should be ensured. Instructions have also been given to repair other medicines, equipment, oxygen lines and oxygen plant including Remdesivir injection. I have given instructions to make all arrangements in hospitals also.

Chief Minister Chouhan will hold discussions with the Crisis Management Committees on December 1. He says that we will keep everyone ready that if the third wave comes, then we can fight it with full capacity. People of the state should be aware, apply mask and keep distance as much as possible, keep washing hands as before.

There has been a rapid increase in the number of corona patients in both the last two cases in Indore and Bhopal of the state. Regarding this, the Chief Minister said that some positive cases are coming from Bhopal and Indore in two cities. Even their number is not such that it should create fear in our mind, but caution is necessary. There are reports that this new variant is spreading more rapidly in Africa and other countries. Therefore caution is necessary.

The people of the state should not be heeded at all. Be sure to follow the rules that are in place to prevent the spread of infection. The government will leave no stone unturned. It will be our endeavor that the third wave does not come.
