More than 30 million people have been fully vaccinated in South Korea

The number of people fully vaccinated in South Korea has crossed 30 million. This figure was released on Saturday. The pace of vaccination has accelerated in the country as well as the Living with Kovid-19 scheme has been implemented.
According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), about 3.03 crore, or 59.1 percent of the total population, have been fully vaccinated since the country began its vaccination program in February.
The Yonhap news agency quoted figures released by the KDCA as saying that nearly 1.1 million people took their second dose on Friday.
The data also shows that the percentage of South Koreans who are 18 years of age and older is estimated at 68.7 percent.
Those who have received the first dose of the two-dose vaccines also reach 399 million, accounting for 77.7 percent of the total population.
South Korea is currently planning to complete the vaccination of 70 percent of the population by the end of this month and will gradually complete it in early November under the Living with COVID-19 plan.
