Mumbai Indians have been knocked out of the IPL 2021 playoffs after Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 65 runs. If Mumbai were to qualify for the playoffs today, they had to beat SRH by 171 runs. Batting first, Mumbai made a huge score of 235 runs, but they could not stop Hyderabad till the score of 65 runs. With this we have got all the four playoff teams of IPL 2021. Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders have qualified for IPL 2021 along with Delhi Capitals. Let us know when these teams will play the playoff matches. Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings will face Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 1, while Virat Kohli’s RCB will take on Eoin Morgan’s Kolkata Knight Riders.
Qualifier 1: DC vs CSK (October 10)
Delhi Capitals, who top the IPL 2021 points table with ** points, will face Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 1. CSK managed to break into the top 2 with 18 points. The losing team will get another chance to qualify for the final and will take on either RCB or KKR in Qualifier 2 to win the Eliminator match. Whereas the team winning Qualifier 1 will directly qualify for the final.
Eliminator – RCB vs KKR (October 11)
While Virat Kohli’s RCB has made it to the IPL playoffs for the second time in a row, the UAE leg has been excellent for KKR. These two teams will face each other in the Eliminator. Out of these, the team that wins here will reach Qualifier 2 and there they will face the team that loses in Qualifier 1. At the same time, the IPL 2021 journey of the losing team will end here.
