Google will launch Pixel 6 series today

New Delhi. Google is going to launch Pixel 6 series smartphones today. The launch event will be online and will start at 10:30 PM IST. Both Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be launched in the series. According to media reports, the price of both the smartphones can range from $ 849 to about $ 1100 i.e. between Rs. 64 thousand to Rs. 83 thousand. Along with this, the Pixel Stand 2 wireless charger worth $ 79 can also be launched today. The launch event of the Pixel series will begin at 10:30 pm tonight and can be viewed from Google’s official YouTube channel. At the same time, it can also be seen on the page specially prepared by the company for the event.

A new report claims that the upcoming Pixel phone will get four major Android updates as well as five years of security patches after its official launch later this month. According to GSArena, the Pixel Two, launched in 2021, will be updated all the way to Android 16 in 2025 and will receive security updates by October 2026. According to the report, both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will share the same main, ultrawide camera. These devices will come with 50MP Samsung GN1 main camera and 12MP Sony IMX286 ultrawide camera. The Pro model will have a 48MP Sony IMX586 telephoto camera sensor with 4X zoom support. For selfies, the vanilla Pixel 6 will have an 8MP sensor, while the Pro model will come with a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor. The front camera of the Pro model will offer two zoom levels of 0.7X and 1X.

According to the report, the primary camera will support 4K video at 60 fps and the maximum zoom level will be 7. When recording at 4K or FHD 60 fps will enable zoom up to 20. The Pixel 6 Pro is expected to feature a display panel with a resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to come preinstalled with the Digital Car Key application. Under the hood, the smartphone will come with a Tenorshare chipset, which will be paired with a Mali-G78 GPU, and will have up to 512GB of storage.
