About 170 civilians and 13 American soldiers were killed in this.
According to media reports, Friday’s blast took place at the Sayyid Abad Mosque in Afghanistan’s northern Kunduz province when local people joined the mosque for prayers. So far more than 100 people have lost their lives in this blast. According to media reports, it has come to the fore quoting eyewitnesses that more than 100 people were killed and about 20 people were injured in the blast in the mosque.
Fears of widespread conflict have increased

Earlier on Sunday, at least 12 people were killed in a bomb blast at a mosque in Kabul. While 32 others were injured. The incident took place in the congested area of Idgah mosque in Kabul.
The terrorist group Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the bomb blast in the mosque. It is being told that the suicide bomber has been identified as a Uighur Muslim. Both Shias and the Taliban were targeted in the attack.
Islamic State group militants have a long history of attacking Afghanistan’s Shia Muslim minority. Those targeted on Friday belong to the Hazara community. The attack is the deadliest since the August attacks on US and NATO troops.
