Eliminating the mafia is the biggest achievement of Yogi | Eliminating the mafia is the biggest achievement of Yogi

Digital Desk, Lucknow. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said here on Friday that the biggest achievement of the Yogi Adityanath government is to wipe out the mafia from Uttar Pradesh.

Addressing party workers at the launch of BJP’s membership drive, Shah said the state has shown remarkable improvement in all parameters.

But we need five more years to make it the number one state, he said. In addition, the 2022 result will also lay the foundation for Modi’s return in 2024.

The Union Minister said that BJP has given a new identity to the state. He said, it is the land of Lord Ram, Mahadev, Krishna, Kabir, Buddha, Suheldev and Madan Mohan Malviya and now it is on the path of development. Development is not for one family or one caste but for all – especially, the poorest of the poor.

Taking a jibe at Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, Shah said, “Those who have been sitting at home for five years have now got new clothes stitched and are claiming to be back in power.” I want to ask Akhilesh Babu how many days he spent abroad in these years. Where was he when UP faced Covid and then faced floods? These are the people who have run their government for their family and their caste. Yogi Adityanath’s government is for all.

Initiating the membership drive, Amit Shah said that the target of membership is four crore and my family-BJP family campaign will run from October 29 to December 31.

He exhorted the party workers to come out and reach people’s doorsteps.

Our manifesto will be made according to the aspirations of the people and workers, he said. We have fulfilled 90 per cent of the promises made in our 2017 manifesto. SP and BSP had destroyed this state but Yogi Adityanath has done a great job to bring things back on track.
