DC vs CSK, IPL 2021: Uthappa played a blistering half-century inning CSK with difficulty

Robin Uthappa of Chennai Super Kings performed brilliantly in the first qualifier match of the Indian Premier League. Uthappa played a powerful innings of 63 runs against Delhi Capitals while batting at number three.

Robin Uthappa was included in today’s match in place of the team’s star player Suresh Raina. Proving the decision of the team management right, a 44-ball half-century for the team after CSK’s early wicket fell. During this he also hit 7 fours and 2 sixes.

Uthappa played this innings for the team when opener Faf du Plessis returned to the pavilion after scoring just 1 run.

In this match, CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, winning the toss and batting, invited Delhi Capitals to bat first. Batting first, the Delhi team scored 172 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs with fifties from Prithvi Shaw (60) and captain Rishabh Pant (51).

Josh Hazlewood took 2 wickets in the bowling for CSK while Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali and Dwayne Bravo took one wicket each.
