Bangladesh got a big setback in the middle of T20 World Cup, this player was out due to injury

Bangladesh team has suffered a major setback in the midst of ICC T20 World Cup. Team’s fast bowler Mohammad Saifuddin has been ruled out of the tournament due to a back injury. Rubel Hossain has been included in the team in place of Saifuddin.

According to a team official, Saifuddin complained of pain in his back after the last match against Sri Lanka. “We will understand the gravity of his injury once he returns to Bangladesh, but since he may not make a comeback in the tournament, we opted for a replacement,” BCB senior manager media and communications Rabid Imam told Cricbuzz on Wednesday.

Talking about Rubel Hossain, he has taken 28 wickets in 28 T2OI matches for Bangladesh. He played his last T20I match against New Zealand on 1 April this year.

Bangladesh, who are in Group-1 of the Super-12 round of the T20 World Cup, will face a strong England in Abu Dhabi today. Bangladesh played their first match in the Super-12 round against Sri Lanka where they had to face defeat.
