Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi underlined India’s contribution in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The Prime Minister also emphasized the need for a resilient global supply chain, he said. ‘Discussed India’s tough economic reforms’

Shringla said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about India’s ‘One Earth, One Health’ vision at the G20 summit. He underlined India’s contribution in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. PM Modi emphasized the need for a flexible global supply chain and discussed India’s stringent economic reforms. He invited G-20 countries to make India their partner in economic recovery, supply chain diversification. Prime Minister Modi said that we are ready to produce more than five billion doses of the vaccine by the end of next year, it will be available not only to us but to the world.

Shringla said, ‘PM Modi said that we are confident that with the approval of emergency use of covaccine by WHO, it will be easier for us to help other countries. Prime Minister Modi spoke on India’s contribution to the fight against Kovid in the first session of the G20 ‘Global Economy and Global Health’. He highlighted medical supplies by India to more than 150 countries. He spoke on India’s ‘One Earth One Health’ vision. Its G-20 I was welcomed by world leaders.
