Gwalior: In Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, the administration has adopted a strict attitude against those who become a hindrance in the campaign of cleanliness. A fine of Rs 50,000 has also been imposed on those spreading filth.

Efforts are on to improve the ranking in the cleanliness survey in Gwalior, in view of this, preparations have started for the cleanliness survey 2022 and cleanliness campaign is being run in the city, under which the general public is being made aware of cleanliness. Along with this, an appeal is being made to the shopkeepers and the general public in the city that they must keep dustbins with them, so that the dirt does not spread and put dry and wet garbage separately in the vehicle.

The general public is being made aware by the Municipal Corporation that they should not defecate in public places, spread garbage or dirt in places, roads, roadsides, drains. Along with this, an appeal is being made to keep the city clean and tidy, while fines are being taken for spreading dirt.

During the cleanliness awareness programs, a fine of more than Rs 50,000 has been collected by the ward monitors for spreading dirt, not keeping separate dustbins for dry wet waste, spitting in the open.
