London: There have been 36,517 new cases of coronavirus in Britain, while 63 people have died. This information has come out from the new official figures.
The dead include only those who died within 28 days of their first positive test, reports Xinhua news agency.
In the last seven days, there was an increase of 6 percent in corona infections and a decrease in the number of deaths by 6.9 percent.
At present 8,652 infected with the coronavirus are hospitalized.
More than one million 12 to 15-year-olds in England have been vaccinated against the coronavirus, according to new figures from the National Health Service (NHS) England.
UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid said on Sunday that more than one million children between the ages of 12 and 15 would be protected by the corona vaccine.
He said, this is an unprecedented achievement and vaccinating children will prevent the effects of coronavirus from further disrupting their education, health and their lives.
In the UK, more than 87 per cent of people aged 12 years and over have received their first dose of vaccine and more than 80 per cent have received both doses, according to new data.
More than 21 percent have received a booster dose or a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
