23 cases of Covid were reported in Delhi, infection rate 0.05 percent | 23 new cases of Kovid registered in Delhi, total number of infected crossed 14 lakh 39 thousand

Digital Desk, New Delhi. 23 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in the national capital on Monday, taking the total number of infected people to 14,39,218. However, no death due to infection has been reported in the city during the last 24 hours. According to the bulletin of the Delhi Health Department, the death toll in the city is 25,089 and the fatality rate is 1.74 per cent. Delhi has so far recorded two deaths due to the infection in October.

The Kovid infection rate in the national capital has come down to 0.05 percent. The city has also recorded a decline in the number of active cases and stands at 369. With a Covid recovery rate of 98.23 per cent, the rate of active Covid cases stands at 0.025 per cent. The health bulletin said that with one patient being cured in the last 24 hours, the total number of those cured so far is 14,13,760. Presently a total of 102 Kovid patients are being treated in home isolation.

Meanwhile, a total of 46,843 new tests – 38,889 RT PCR tests and 7,954 rapid antigen tests – were conducted in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of tests so far to 2,83,11,984. At present, the number of containment zones in the city is 102. Of the total 47,923 vaccines given in the last 24 hours, 24,236 first dose and 23,687 second dose have been recorded. As per the health bulletin, the total number of beneficiaries vaccinated so far is 1,90,60,000.
