1 death due to Kovid for the second consecutive day in Delhi, 32 new cases

New Delhi: The national capital recorded one death from Covid on Sunday, taking the total death toll to 25,097, while 32 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 14,40,866.

One death was reported in the national capital on Saturday after 11 days.

According to the bulletin of the Health Department, the Kovid infection rate in the capital city is 0.06 percent, while the active cases are 288. With 33 patients getting cured in the last 24 hours, the total number of those who have recovered has gone up to 14,15,481.

At present, a total of 115 Kovid patients are being treated in home isolation.

With the recovery rate of 98.23 percent, the rate of active COVID cases in Delhi has come down to 0.19 percent.

The number of containment zones in the city is 108.

Meanwhile, a total of 53,515 new tests – 45,268 RT-PCR and 8,247 rapid antigen tests – were conducted in the last 24 hours, taking the total number to 3,08,25,326 so far.

Of the 1,23,901 vaccines administered in the last 24 hours, 42,388 were the first dose and 81,513 were the second dose. As per the health bulletin, the total number of immunization beneficiaries so far is 2,24,69,578.
